    **Assistant Service Manager**

    Fort Worth, TX, USA Req #1518 Wednesday, January 19, 2022 For Earth For Life **BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION**

    The Assistant Division Service Manager (ADSM) works to support the divisional service department activities with focus on both day to day office administration and field service team management. A high focus will be on development of the Field Service Representative's ( FSR) ability to support innovation, growth, product quality improvement and be the voice for the customer and dealer within Kubota. The ADSM will also help facilitate technical and professional training at the Division Training Center.

    **PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES** **: This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws / regulations and the Companys policies, procedures, and guidelines:**

    Lead, guide and monitor assigned Field Service Representatives (FSRs) in all aspects of dealer service operations support including, but not limited to, dealer development, technical machine support, customer dispute resolution and aftersales profitability.

    + Mentor the FSRs to support the development of relationships that exhibit mutual accountability and respect with their dealers.

    + Visit dealers with assigned FSRs to increase Kubota's representation and build strong relationships with dealers, bring about continual improvement of the customer experience of Kubota products.

    + Oversee Dealer Service Business and Operational Audits delivered by FSRs.

    + Work with the respective FSR and Division Service Manager to perform Dealer Warranty Audits as needed.

    Work with the Corporate Office by providing field-level insight that guides the development of the National Service Strategy.

    Oversee the development of Dealer Certification Achievement Plans in cooperation with the Regional Sales Managers and District Sales Territory Manager.

    Schedule, organize, and execute technical training programs, seminars, and schools for Kubota dealers as required.

    Monitor dealer activity and work collaboratively with Division Service and Sales personnel to improve low dealer performance.

    Oversee wise stewardship of discretionary spending according to company policy.

    **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**

    Bachelors degree in Agricultural Mechanics, Engineering, or related field preferred:

    + In lieu of a degree at least 5 years of experience in a service leadership role in a similar industry required.

    At least 3 years as a service technician or service trainer in a related field required.

    Mechanical knowledge of agricultural, turf, and construction equipment.

    **EQUIPMENT OPERATION:**

    Forklift, RTVs and Kubota equipment-Occasional repair

    Office equipment including computer, copier, phone, printer

    **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:**

    Typical office environment. The position will require walking, standing, and sitting at a computer. The ADSM must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

    **ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:**

    Performance of the duties of this job will expose the person to potential hazards including, noise, chemicals, paints, fuels, dust, heat, moving parts and operation of mechanical or electrical equipment.

    The position may require walking, standing, stooping and transporting materials or parts on a regular basis, up to OSHA limits.
