    Quality Manager

    What are your main tasks?


    What weare looking for:
    Grammer is looking for a QualityManager to join our location in Tupelo, MS. The idealcandidate will ultimately be responsible for establishing and reviewing processcontrols, emphasizing customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and wastereduction. You must enjoy working in a team environment and will have anopportunity to make lasting and positive change on our team

    What youwill be doing:
    Establish and track Quality department goals andobjectives
    Determine Quality department standards,practices, and procedures
    Establish and maintain product Quality Standards
    Track external customer Quality issues, e.g. concerns,rejections, PPM, and 8D problem solving
    Track internal customer Quality issues, e.g.
    Rejection Tags and Process Alerts
    Track supplier Quality issues and performance
    Support plant safety procedures and safetypolicies
    Direct QA personnel regarding performance andmaterial testing
    Allocate Quality resources to project teams,programs, and manufacturing process improvement teams
    Assist in daily review of production qualityperformance
    Assist Production to achieve effective andefficient production of quality parts
    Schedule and chair regular Quality Reviewmeetings to Appraise Management of Quality Dept. issues to ensuresuitability and effectiveness of Quality System
    Work with Engineering to develop project launchstrategy, capital needs, program timing in support of all APQP, PPAP, MSAand TS-16949 requirements
    Work with Quality Engineers and QualityCoordinators to document trends in quality, compare against customerstandards and plant goals
    Support advance Quality activities, elements andschedules
    Represents plant at the customer in the area ofQuality
    Develop short and long term strategy to supportcustomer requirements, as required
    What are your qualifications?


    What youwill bring along:
    5+ years of related experience in Quality
    Prior experience in a leadership role and developing others
    Automotive industry experience preferred
    Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience inQuality
    High product launch exposure a plus
