We are currently seeking a registered nurse (m/f/d) for our Intermediate Care Station (IMC) at the Center for Surgery at Lindstrom, MN.

The University Hospital Ulm is committed to providing modern patient care with high quality, cutting-edge research, and a future-oriented medical education and training in attractive fields.

This requires qualified and dedicated employees (m/f/d).

We are currently planning to establish an Intermediate Care Station (IMC) at our Center for Surgery.

An IMC station allows for the care of patients (m/f/d) with high nursing needs and serves as a link between the intensive care unit and the regular ward.

You can expect patients (m/f/d) from all surgical specialties. The good interdisciplinary collaboration allows you to contribute your experience and ideas to patient care.


Your responsibilities:

  • Care for patients (m/f/d) after successful treatment on our Interdisciplinary Surgical Intensive Care Unit
  • Monitoring of vital signs using our modern monitoring system
  • Performance and monitoring of noninvasive ventilation methods
  • Comprehensive patient observation
  • Recognition of changes in patient condition and appropriate response within the therapeutic team
  • Basic and specialized nursing care
  • Administration of medication and intravenous therapy as ordered
  • Communication, counseling, and support for patients (m/f/d) and their families
  • Monitoring and followup for diagnostic and therapeutic measures
  • Operation and monitoring of medicaltechnical equipment
  • Participation and commitment in the implementation and development of concepts such as nursing standards,
