    Do you want to ensure that our IT security solutions are best in class? We are looking for an experienced IT Security Specialist to strengthen our IT security team in Denmark.


    As our new IT Security Specialist your key role will involve implementing and enhancing the CIS-18 framework used within GN.

    The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in anticipating security requirements, staying on top of the latest developments within IT security, and collaborating closely with stakeholders.

    The team you will be part of is located at our global HQ in Ballerup, Denmark and you will join our team of four dedicated, collaborative, and engaged colleagues.

    The position is an onsite position, however, with the flexibility of working from home, if required.


    You will be part of a highly skilled, supportive, and enthusiastic department of diverse and experienced specialists working closely together with other IT teams, our CISO and other stakeholders in an informal work environment.

    You will report to Head of IT Security, Cathleen Rupf-van Hoften.

    IT Security & Networks is part of the IT Enterprise Platforms in Group IT. We collaborate across the global GN Group.

    We develop, support, and maintain technologies, tools and processes that are used as a base upon which other applications, processes and technologies are developed.


    As part of the IT Security team, you will help enhance our global IT Security, which is based upon a zero-trust concept.

    This entails working with several leading technologies and vendors in the field.

    Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:
    Continuously assess the current security situation by implementing improvements based on CIS-18 framework.
    Anticipate future security requirements and proactively implement measures.
    Define, design, apply, and support security controls, specific to teams within IT, OT and R&D
    Design and implement security solutions in general in both external and internal projects and initiatives.
    Participate in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security reviews.
    To succeed in the role, we imagine that you:
    Have proven experience in implementing CIS-18 security controls in large corporations.
    Have some years of relevant experience within IT security with a focus on CIS-18.
    Having a consulting or Risk & Compliance background is helpful, but it's not essential.
    Have excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and project management experience.
    Have strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
    Have a proactive attitude with the ability to take initiative and drive projects forward.

    Nice-to-have skills are:

    Experience within Azure Sentinel, ServiceNow, knowledge of SCRUM/SAFe
    Are familiar with Microsoft security technologies.
    Have relevant certifications, such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), or equivalent.
    Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
