Responsibilities:

  • Managing projects in the areas of structural water engineering, flood protection, and potentially hydropower
  • Conducting studies, developing concepts, and planning projects in all phases of the HOAI
  • Preparing and conducting procurement procedures for supply, construction, and installation services, potentially taking on construction supervision
  • Responsible project management, providing technical guidance to project teams, and ensuring compliance with quality standards
  • Assisting with acquiring new projects, preparing proposals, and participating in presentations

Qualifications:

  • Completed degree in civil engineering with a focus on water engineering or water management, or a comparable qualification with several years of practical experience
  • Relevant professional experience in the aforementioned areas of responsibility and indepth knowledge of planning, construction management, and tendering and executing water and civil engineering projects
  • Indepth knowledge of construction, procurement, and fee law (VOB, HOAI)
  • Proficiency in using office applications (e.g. Microsoft Project)
  • Excellent communication skills, teamwork, assert
