Requirements:


  • Must have high school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Check
  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance
  • FBI Clearance through the Department of Human Services
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Reliable transportation is required since you are covering York and Dauphin counties
Description

Pennsylvania Counseling Services (PCS) is looking for someone interested in working with clients and also being out in the community - must have strong interpersonal skills.

Sales, or recruiting experience a plus but not required.


In this position you will:


  • Provide case coordination services for clients, links to community agencies, job placement assistance, workshops/groups, and will be a liaison with employers, providing education and assistance for supporting individuals in recovery in the workplace
  • Work with clients with substance use history
  • Communicate and collaborate directly with employers
  • Support un
- or under-employed individuals in recovery in their job searches

  • Connect both employers and applicants/employers to additional supportive services and community resources
  • Provide outreach and training to local area employers to education them about working with individuals in recovery

A successful applicant will:


  • Understand that overcoming addiction is a multifaceted and individual process
  • Have a history of or a passion for working with those with substance use disorders
  • Maintain a compassionate yet boundaried approach to a high needs population
  • Be organized and detail oriented
  • Able to work independently
  • Need to demonstrate flexibility
  • Be open to feedback and guidance from leadership staff
This position is a grant funded position. If the grant would end we would offer you additional positions within PCS if applicable. EOE.

Pay $18/hour + $100 biweekly stipend

Degree Requirement High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree

Working Hours Monday - Thursday 8:00am-6:00pm after 10 week start up
