    Position: Cloud System Administrator

    ***(Active Clearance with a Full Scope Poly Required)

    Position Description:

    We are looking for a skilled and experienced Cloud System Administrator to manage and maintain cloud infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    Desired Skills:
    • Experience with cloud-based Linux system administration for large Hadoop and Accumulo cloud-based cluster environments
    • Experience with bash, python, and configuration management tools such as puppet
    • Experience deploying, configuring, maintaining cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
    • Experience automating routine tasks and processes using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation
    • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
    • Experience monitoring systems and resolving or escalating network and data flow alerts for cloud systems hardware, software or network issues
    • Strong background in troubleshooting operations system issues
    • Experience with Prometheus, HDFS, and Grafana are highly desirable
    Requirements:
    • Must be a U.S. citizen.
    • Must hold an active clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field and a minimum of 5 years of professional experience
    • A cloud certification is required
    Physical Requirements:
    • This position involves sedentary work with physical requirements expected for at least 50% of the time. Essential functions include prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, and talking.
