We are looking for a System Administrator (m/f/d) Business Systems to join our Distribution, Marketing, and Technology team at our offices in Bonn or Berlin on July 1, 2023 or as soon as possible.

Are you excited to actively support the digital transformation of Deutsche Welle?

Do you understand the overall context of business processes in the commercial areas and know how to derive IT architecture requirements from them?


We are looking for someone to independently manage, plan, and control IT systems and projects with editorial and media relevance, acting as a liaison between stakeholders, service providers, and management.


If you are proactive, able to identify problems, and can independently approach departments, then bring your experience and enthusiasm for change to our team.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintenance and development of applications in the commercial environment (e.g. scheduling system, CAFM, IT service management)
Consolidation and automation of processes for the systems under your responsibility
Gathering, planning, conceptualizing, implementing, and documenting new requirements
2nd level support (error analysis, system monitoring, ensuring operation, patches, updates)
Project work and sub-project management
Consulting and training of system users in the departments


WHAT YOU BRING
Degree in (Business) Informatics or a comparable qualification such as an apprenticeship as an IT specialist
Understanding of IT system administration, knowledge of client and server operation, as well as database systems
Experience in development is an advantage, knowledge of interface setup and
