- Inventory and registration of tissue samples.
- Label tissue samples according to internal identification and tissue type.
- Catalog stained slides and FFPE tissue blocks for archival purposes.
- Communicate closely with external vendors to organize periodic shipments.
- May be asked to manage various tasks in support of the Anatomic Pathology laboratory human tissue panels.
- Associate's degree OR Bachelor's degree with equivalent direct work experience of minimum two (2) years of in laboratory setting within hospital/pharma/biotech or CRO.
- Proficiency in working with tabular data (i.e. Microsoft Excel).
- Strong organizational and time management skills .
- Strong written communication skills .
- Proven track record of analytical skills, problem solving and attention to detail.
- High personal integrity and credibility.
- Proficiency in Labware Biorepository database, or similar tissue banking software.
- Prior experience in sample management.
- Prior experience in logistics.
