- Providing direct administrative support to the Human Resources team
- Entering and maintaining employee data in the HRIS system (Paylocity) and personnel files
- Ensuring the employee onboarding process is a positive and cohesive experience for new ASEC hires
- Assisting with the employment verification process, maintaining employee records and verifying I-9 documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable legal requirements
- Taking a proactive approach in responding to employee questions, concerns, and issues in a confidential manner
- Support special projects and tasking that align with ASEC's strategic initiatives
- Duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list and the scope of the job changes as necessitated by business demand
- You have a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related area of study (preferred)
- You have 1-2 years of Human Resources experience and a basic understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures
- Bonus points if you have experience with data entry and reporting in an HRIS platform (e.g. Paylocity, ADP, etc.)
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills are a must. Experience using MS Teams and Adobe is preferred
- You understand the sensitive nature of confidential data and information that HR professionals are privy to
- You are able to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers
- You have professional and effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- You take a proactive approach to your work and you're able to accomplish tasks with limited guidance and supervision
- You have demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
