    Description

    As an Operations Executive specializing in large mechanical projects, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of these projects. This role requires strategic leadership, extensive technical expertise in mechanical systems, and the ability to drive operational excellence across all phases of project delivery.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategic Planning and Leadership:

    • Develop and implement strategic plans for the execution of large mechanical projects, aligning with the company's goals and objectives.
    • Provide leadership and direction to project managers, engineers, and site supervisors, ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
    • Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the operations team.

    Operational Oversight:

    • Oversee all operational aspects of large mechanical projects, including HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
    • Monitor project progress, conduct regular site visits, and review performance metrics to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Address and resolve any operational issues or challenges that may arise during project execution.

    Financial Management:

    • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and financial performance.
    • Monitor project expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement measures to optimize profitability.
    • Review and approve financial documents, including invoices, change orders, and financial reports.

    Client and Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to define project requirements, expectations, and deliverables.
    • Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status, risks, and opportunities.

    Quality Assurance and Safety:

    • Ensure all projects adhere to the highest standards of quality and safety, implementing robust quality control and safety management practices.
    • Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
    • Promote a culture of safety, conducting safety meetings, and ensuring all team members adhere to safety protocols.

    Team Development and Management:

    • Recruit, train, and mentor project managers, engineers, and site supervisors, building a high-performing operations team.
    • Set performance goals, conduct evaluations, and provide feedback to support professional development and career growth.
    • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation and teamwork.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
    • Proven experience (3 years) in a senior operations or executive role, with a focus on large mechanical projects.
    • Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, and plumbing.
    • Strong financial acumen and experience managing large project budgets.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid).
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
    • Certification in Project Management (PMP) or similar credentials (preferred).
