Job Summary:

The Insurance Product Management Senior Consultant is responsible for contributing towards designing, delivering, and managing the lifecycle of one or more products in Allstate's growing product portfolio. This role supports and defines new product requirements for Property Affordable, Simple and Connected (ASC) insurance products. This position will research, analyze and present complex data and facts to support recommendations on potential initiatives, interacting with other departments in and out of Allstate Property-Liability Product Management. This role assists with supporting strategic product vision, product discovery, roadmaps, and backlog to maximize the customer and enterprise value provided by the property products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support a business execution scrum team by actively collaborating with those in product, pricing, underwriting, billing, experience, and other technical areas to evaluate and deliver on business requirements
• Work with the team to organize the work and execute on initiatives within given timeframes
• Leverage analyses (e.g. competitor, product, market, risk management, financial) to understand the underlying health of the product(s) and inform decisions about product and experience strategy
• Contribute to the achievement of short- and long-term strategies to achieve market share growth and profitability targets on a countrywide basis
• Analyze relevant facts and organize work to support strategies to ensure the integration and execution of product countrywide and across distribution channels
• Manage / perform complex work assignments and problem resolution across systems, processes or channels and navigate obstacles to deliver the work product
• Execute strategies which may include new distribution channel initiatives, best practices and new products and services
• Actively participate in coordinated efforts across the organization to facilitate the implementation of initiatives
• Define and analyze KPI's to measure success, collaborating with partners to develop reporting needs and communicate results
• Assist with managing the product backlog, contribute towards creating an effective vision and provide timely stakeholder feedback on development iterations

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Functional Skills:

• Intermediate product, price, underwriting and insurance regulation knowledge, with working knowledge of Allstate Personal Lines' rate plans and product offerings
• Advanced knowledge about business in general, knowledge of industry and company economics;
• Advanced problem-solving skills

Compensation offered for this role is $70,500.00-$125,625.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
