Job Description:

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Prep Cook to join our culinary team at Umbrella Dry Bar. As a Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all kitchen operations run smoothly by preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen.

Responsibilities:

Prep ingredients for a range of charcuterie boards and small plates that support every dietary journey.

Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients by following proper storage and handling procedures.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment, workstations, and storage areas.

Support the culinary team in fulfilling orders during peak hours by efficiently preparing and stocking ingredients.

Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and informing management of ingredient needs.

Adhere to health and safety standards and regulations at all times.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Prep Cook or in a similar role is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.

Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and food preparation techniques.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.

Commitment to cleanliness and maintaining a sanitized work environment.
