    Job Description:

    Position Overview:
    We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Prep Cook to join our culinary team at Umbrella Dry Bar.

    As a Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all kitchen operations run smoothly by preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen.



    Responsibilities:

    • Prep ingredients for a range of charcuterie boards and small plates that support every dietary journey.
    • Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients by following proper storage and handling procedures.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment, workstations, and storage areas.
    • Support the culinary team in fulfilling orders during peak hours by efficiently preparing and stocking ingredients.
    • Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and informing management of ingredient needs.
    • Adhere to health and safety standards and regulations at all times.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience as a Prep Cook or in a similar role is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
    • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and food preparation techniques.
    • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
    • Commitment to cleanliness and maintaining a sanitized work environment.
