    3D SolidWorks Mechanical Design Project EngineerTwo years of functioning as a Project Engineering Manager or Project Engineer and two years of engineering designer experience are requiredA four year engineering degree or three years of engineering experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical or food industries is requiredPay is up to $90,000Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holderNo remoteFull-timePermanent W-2 employeeFull benefitsNo relocationWhitewater, Wisconsin AreaThis full time, permanent 3D SolidWorks Mechanical Project Engineer opening is at a growing, diverse, custom structural, system and metal component manufacturer.

    Customers are diverse and include biotechnology, food and pharmaceutical companies. The company promotes from within and does not hold employees back from growing their skillset and careers. Numerous advancement opportunities will exist as the company continues to grow. This smaller company values employees and treats employees well. The company has been in existence for approximately 30 years and employs approximately 100 employees.

    The company has not experienced a layoff since 2007.If an employee has the aptitude and drive they can advance to a project management role.

    This position is available due to continued company growth due to demand for company products.

    The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate are as follows:
    Managing projects to stay on time and on budgetScheduling and budgeting a variety of custom engineering projectsCreating, engineering, fabricating and testing of custom engineer projectsReviewing detailed, custom engineering 3D SolidWorks drawingsWorking with a variety of vendors and customersWorking with a variety of engineering and production employeesWorking in unison with and supporting project engineersCreating the Production Ready LibraryCreating Engineering Change NoticesCreating bills of materialsCoordinating integrationsOverseeing installations in the fieldThe background of the successful candidate must include the following:Two years of functioning as a Project Engineering Manager or Project EngineerTwo years of engineering design experienceA four-year engineering degree or three years of engineering experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical or food industriesTwo or more years of Microsoft Excel experienceA proficiency in managing multiple projects at the same timeA solid work historyA US citizen or possess a green cardA residence within 45 minutes
