Welcome to the Berlin City Cleaning (BSR), the leading municipal waste management company in Germany.

We make a significant contribution to the quality of life in Berlin and see ourselves as active creators of holistic urban cleanliness and waste and resource management.

Our Waste Treatment and Resource Management division is responsible for developing, building, and operating the BSR's portfolio of facilities. In addition, we act as a driver for energy efficiency, climate protection, and resource conservation. At the waste-to-energy plant, we generate steam from waste in an environmentally friendly and efficient manner. Here, we plan comprehensive modernization projects for the power plant.

We also plan additional waste treatment facilities at the Gradestraße site with the clear goal of promoting climate and resource-friendly approaches in Berlin.
