- Identify potential customers and expand the customer base in the assigned territory
- Manage existing customers and increase their business engagement
- Enhance customer success by:
- Assisting in menu engineering for customers
- Conducting food cost analysis to minimize waste and boost customer profits
- Stay updated on market trends and share industry insights
- Arrange product demonstrations and comparisons at customer premises
- Conduct capability demonstrations to support customer needs
- Promote new product innovations using resources provided by Shamrock
- Develop strong relationships with clients
- Ensure account stability by optimizing sales, service, and collections
- Utilize technology for better customer service and efficiency
- Engage in continuous training to enhance skills
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in culinary, hospitality, foodservice, or related fields preferred
- Prior successful sales experience is advantageous
- Valid driver license
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficient in technology and customer data analysis
- Familiar with industry trends
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Flexible to work varied hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 40 pounds regularly
- Frequent lifting and moving of objects weighing up to 60 pounds.
