- Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence
- Experience working with largescale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Description
Amazon seeks a Sr Financial Analyst to join the Global Marketing and Traffic team.We are responsible for managing a portfolio of marketing investments across a diverse set of channels which are used to drive customers, new and existing, to the Amazon store.
We measure and track these investments with the aim of optimizing long term free cash flow.
The Sr Financial Analyst will partner with multiple leaders across the Search Engine Optimization, Social Media, and email/push notification channels to provide strategic guidance and thought leadership for short and long-range investment decisions, build mechanisms and tools to surface key analytical insights, dive deep into large sets of data, prioritize and deliver projects that aim to continuously improve our scale and efficiency, and manage the controllership of a significant spend portfolio.
This role requires a self-starter with business modeling skills, a keen attention to detail, a track record of influencing business partners with data-driven decision making, and the ability to move fast.
Communication and collaboration are key, as the individual must interact with members across product, marketing, tech, finance and various leadership teams.
