The city of Überlingen is a central hub with approximately 25,000 inhabitants in the western district of Lake Constance. It has a well-developed infrastructure and all school facilities are available on site. Due to its scenic location, it also offers excellent recreational value.


We are currently seeking a Project Manager (m/f/d) for our Building Management Department, Department of Civil Engineering, to start as soon as possible.


Job Responsibilities:
- (Construction) project management for municipal new, conversion, and expansion buildings

  • Acting as the client during the execution and planning of municipal construction projects (new construction and renovation of schools and kindergartens, as well as the renovation of municipal real estate)
  • Managing the planning and implementation of construction projects
  • Coordinating the various specialist planners and consultants involved in the construction process
  • Undertaking other clientrelated tasks, such as conducting tenders and participating in funding applications

Your Profile:

  • Completed degree in engineering from a university or technical college, or a Bachelor's/Master's degree in architecture, civil engineering, construction project management, or a related field
  • Knowledge of construction, procurement, and planning law
  • Experience in project management for large construction projects, preferably in the municipal sector, desirable
  • High level of commitment and ability to think and act independently in a businessoriented manner
  • Willingness to find alternative solutions (in terms of costeffectiveness and ecological sustainability)
