CSB Schimmel Automobile GmbH is Berlin's largest dealer for Hyundai and Mitsubishi, and we are looking to continue growing. At our 4 locations in Berlin and surrounding areas, we sell over 1600 new and 500 used vehicles annually. As a family-owned business for over 30 years, we have grown to a team of over 135 colleagues. The Schimmel Group now consists of 5 companies. The shared service center for the group is located at the parent company.


We are currently seeking a Payroll Accountant at our Hohenschönhausen location who would like to take on the role of personnel administration with a focus on payroll:


Your responsibilities:


  • Independent payroll processing using DATEV and personnel administration for a group of approximately 150 employees
  • Independent creation of employment contracts according to guidelines and in consultation with HR management, as well as reviewing legal and factual situations
  • Main point of contact for employees of the company, as well as communication with health insurance companies and authorities
  • Monitoring of contract and payrollrelated deadlines and changes, including data maintenance in DATEV
  • Personnel costrelated yearend tasks in collaboration with the accounting department and management

What you bring:


  • Completed commercial training, ideally with additional qualifications or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Relevant professional experience (minimum 2 years) in payroll processing and personnel administration, as well as knowledge of labor, income tax
