- Associate's degree in nursing required.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- 3 years of experience in Trauma/Surgical Intensive Care and/or Emergency Department related experience required.
- Progressive leadership responsibilities preferred.
- Experience working in a Level I or 2 Trauma Center helpful.
- RN- Registered Nurse upon hire required.
- Identify new trauma patients, provide initial resuscitation/care as indicated and monitor throughout the entire transition of care for complications, events, and variances by use of health record, communication with care team and unit rounds.
- Maintain a constant state of awareness for opportunities to address ongoing patient and family needs.
- Demonstrates involvement in a professional organization, including certification in appropriate specialty if applicable.
