About this Opportunity:

The Manufacturing Engineer will be part of the Engineering team with exciting opportunity to solve a wide range of complex challenges in new and sustaining products.

This role will be at the forefront of the transformation driving efficiency improvements, process knowhow and excellence in collaboration.

Responsibilities:
Be the technical point-of-contact for system-level projects.
Defines process, tooling, testing, data traceability, packaging, material overhead, etc.

Coordinate and communicate with Mechanical/Electronics engineers and other functions to enable system-level buildCreates cell layout, perform cycle time calculations, and line balance.

Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching testing methods, and conferring with equipment vendors.
Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods.
Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs.
Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Provides manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests.
Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
Supports facility operations by coordinating with designed maintenance and repair services.
Completes design and development projects by training and guiding technicians.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.

Serve as a technical focal point who meets the Customer Focus Business Unit (CFBU) objectives of delivery, quality, and customer service.

Assist Quality Engineering in non-conformance material disposition and failure analysis.

Requirements / Skills:
4-year Engineering or Technical degree required.5+ years of manufacturing experiencePractical knowledge and experience in manufacturing processes, and product realizationLean Six Sigma Green BeltFamiliar with the method of Product Life Cycle and New Product Introduction (APQP, EVT-DVT

PVT, etc.)

Familiarity with electromechanical manufacturing requirements such as IEC and ISO standardsUnderstanding of ISO9001, ISO13485, AS9102, Build report and First ArticlesFamiliar with tools and processes necessary for systems integrations such as torque, ESD, adhesives, testingUnderstanding of Design for Six SigmaFamiliar with MS Office, Bartender, and scriptsExperience working with MRP/ERP systemsExerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, both domestically and internationally
