YOU

As a Technical Support Representative, you will provide assistance to the Engineering department and testing laboratory across all product lines.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (of Time)

Assist Simpson Engineers with test reports, technical letters, custom hanger designs, Strong-Wall and Strong-Rod technical support and various special projects.

(20%)

Provide cost analysis and value engineering on various special projects. (10%)

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
Twoyear degree, technical school certificate in Business, or equivalent experience preferred.
12 years of experience in various aspects of commercial construction business, including budgeting, reading plans and familiar with common construction terminology.
Drafting: Interpret and understand mechanical drawings and drafting standards, create and revise drawings using AutoCad and/or Inventor
Computer Skills: Must be proficient in computer data input using Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel, Access, PDF programs and Smartsheet or similar programs with the ability to learn new programs as needed

This job does not require travel.

WORK STATUS & LOCATION
This is a full-time, non-exempt position located in Stockton, CA.

RELOCATION
Relocation is not available for this position.
