Position Overview:

As a Draftsman at Rackley Bilt Custom Trailers, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of our products.

You will work closely with our team to translate conceptual designs into detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD software.

Your precision and attention to detail will ensure that our trailers are manufactured to the highest standards of quality and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with all parts of the manufacturing process to create detailed drawings and schematics for custom trailer projects.

Utilize AutoCAD software to produce accurate 2D and 3D models of trailer components and assemblies.

Incorporate design specifications, dimensions, and materials into technical drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Review and revise drawings as needed to reflect changes in design, engineering requirements, or client preferences.

Work closely with production teams to provide support and clarification during the manufacturing process.

Maintain organized documentation of drawings, revisions, and project specifications for future reference.


Requirements:

Proficiency in AutoCAD software with experience in drafting and design.

Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials, and fabrication techniques.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings.

Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Experience in the trailer or manufacturing industry is a plus but not required.

$65, $75,000.00 per year
