Position exists in the Medical Director's Office at Porterville Developmental Center.Under supervision, performs work of average difficulty and makes decisions in a wide variety of consultative and analytical staff services assignments such as program evaluation and planning; systems development; planning, training, management, and personnel analysis; draws organization workload and other charts. Performs a wide range of established consultative and analytical activities of organizational concern. Expected to exercise a high degree of initiative, independence, originality, and sound judgment in performing assigned tasks. Serves in a confidential capacity and is responsible for support to the Medical Department.
This position is not eligible for telework, this position is in person only.

Working Conditions
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must possess and maintain sufficient strength, agility, endurance, and sensory ability to perform the duties contained in the duty statement.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Incumbents will have ongoing interaction with personnel at all levels in the organization and staff at other state agencies. The position requires prolonged sitting and extensive use of data terminals. Incumbents must possess the ability and knowledge to use a personal computer, fax machine and photocopier. Must have knowledge of facility policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality.
