    Job Description

    We are recruiting for a Southern California Territory Field Sales Manager. This position is responsible for making in-person sales calls to new and existing accounts throughout the region; out in the field selling and educating our customers about the Comvita brand and product benefits. This is a tremendous opportunity for an individual that is highly motivated, passionate about brand-building, and with a keen attention to detail.

    Build and maintain a positive relationship with new and existing accounts

    Drive new product placement

    Actively champion and support broker team to achieve territory objectives

    Participate in merchandising, retail audits as necessary, and conduct staff trainings

    Coordinate and participate in market tours

    Attend local and regional sales meetings and trade shows

    Complete weekly and monthly reports summarizing accomplishments, targets and opportunities

    Maintain awareness of industry trends, competitive product lines, current retail environment, and promotional and marketing programs

    About you:

    3+ years in functional food natural grocery sales experience in Southern California

    Dependable, extroverted, and able to problem-solve successfully

    A high level of motivation with a strong work ethic

    Flexibility to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced environment

    Ability to work independently while being a strong team player

    Outstanding organizational and follow-up skills

    Excellent written, verbal and listening skills

    Ability to manage time and deadlines effectively

    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook

    Self-starter with strong sales and merchandizing skills

    Experience in the Natural Products Industry calling on retailers in Southern California

    Clean driving record, reliable transportation, valid drivers license and valid/current insurance is required.
