    Description
    The Construction Project Manager oversees overall planning, management, and execution of work for assigned construction projects. They are in charge of maximizing project profitibility and promoting the client's objectives and goals. They believe in building and maintaining relationships with their team, clients, and communities.
    The Construction Project Manager is in charge of:
    Assists preparation of estimates, budgets, cost reports for the project
    Leads the project team in preparing the project management plan (PMP)
    In charge of pre-bid and pre-construction meetings
    Participates in the negotiation and preparation of project subcontracts
    Assists in obtaining permits and resolving other regulatory requirements as necessary
    Helps prepare a project schedule
    Assists business development operations as requested
    Plans the successful execution of the construction contract
    Develops and monitors project quality, safety, and risk management plans
    Monitors the project site for cost, safety, quality, and schedule performance with the project superintendent
    Negotiates owner and subcontractor change orders and manages the resulting cost and profit impact
    Develops the monthly client pay requests and follows up on collection
    Controls the payment of job costs based on document review and approval. Participates in monthly job cost reviews to declare project status
    Coordinates all final close out procedures for the project
    Participates in Project Manager training
    A successful Construction Project Manager should have the following:
    ~ Bachelor's degree in Construction Managerment, Civil Engineering, related, or similar experience
    ~4+ years of experience with ground up healthcare construction, K-12, Higher education, or other commercial
    ~ Community service participation preferred.

    With travel, per diem will be provided
    Light travel may be necessary.
