- Serve as the initial Aerospace representative dedicated to DEL 3's EW IMD
- Establish effective relationships with various stakeholders including DEL 3 staff, Space Operations Command staff, USSF's acquisition and planning communities, and Aerospace members
- Develop and maintain technical expertise on USSF space EW systems
- Identify system gaps, opportunities, and engineering solutions
- Lead systems engineering activities and represent integrated perspectives in technical meetings
- Coordinate work with other Aerospace subject matter experts to address DEL 3 challenges
- Ensure continuous mission excellence through knowledge sharing and mentoring
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field such as electrical engineering or computer science
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive engineering experience
- Expertise in electronic communication systems, satellite communications, electromagnetic warfare, DoD force design, or acquisitions
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to tactfully persuade and collaborate effectively
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with eligibility for Special Access Programs
- Advanced technical proficiency in satellite communications and electromagnetic warfare
- Advanced degree in a relevant technical field
- Familiarity with DoD and USSF processes, particularly in acquisitions
- Experience in systems engineering processes and familiarity with space EW systems
- Prior accesses to Special Access Programs

The Defense Systems Group (DSG) offers analysis-based decision support to senior leaders in space architectures, policy and strategy, developmental planning, system of systems engineering, and threat reduction to influence future space missions within the national security space enterprise. Supporting key customers including the United States Space Force, United States Space Command, Air Force Materiel Command, and Pentagon leadership.
Join a unique government-facing role where you'll specialize in electromagnetic warfare for the United States Space Force (USSF), collaborating with USSF members of Space Delta 3 (DEL 3), the operational space EW forces. Your role is crucial in enhancing USSF's space EW combat-readiness, contributing to the USSF IMD efforts led by the Vice Commander of DEL 3, focusing on operational and developmental integration for future acquisitions and system modifications.
Work Model
Engage in an interactive, government-facing role that mandates 100% on-site presence during work hours at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado. Expect occasional travel for a few days per month based on mission requirements.
