    Please send your resume in WORD format should you be interested in the following Commercial Lines Underwriter position located in Indianapolis, IN This is a full-time, direct-hire position with a salary at $70K - $90K with Benefits.There are 3 levels to promote into after being a Senior Underwriter.They also have career paths that lead into Leadership.If you are not interested in this position, please pass onto colleagues/associates as we do offer referral fees should they be hired.

    Job Title:Commercial Lines Underwriter & Senior Underwriter (Carriers)

    Positions Available: 2

    Location:Indianapolis, IN 46240

    Work Environment:Hybrid (2 days onsite 3 days work from home)

    Salary:Underwriter - $70-78K with 10% bonus

    Senior Underwriter $80-90K with 10% bonus

    Benefits including comprehensive total rewards packages, including health benefits and retirement savings

    Term:Full-time

    3rd Party C2C/Transfer:No

    Referral Fee:$ Refer qualified colleague, friends, or family.

    Must have qualifications:

    • Minimum of 2+ years of commercial Underwriting experience in CARRIERS NOT AGENCIES
    • Proficiency in desktop tools, underwriting systems, and email systems.
    • Effective communication skills with internal and external customers
    • Adaptability to change.
    • Valid state-issued driver's license in good standing

    Interview Process:

    • 3 1-hour virtual interviews

    Responsibilities

    • Underwrite and process assigned renewal policies, ensuring adherence to underwriting standards and guidelines.
    • Answer incoming calls from agents and make adjustments to policy information.
    • Collaborate with agents and other departments to grow and maintain a profitable book of business.
    • Provide guidance and effective communication to internal and external customers.
    • Conduct profit and growth analysis and monitor premium retention.
