    The Reality Capture Administrator is responsible for assisting the Spatial Golf Technology team in daily operation of reality capture from photogrammetry and lidar sources with a primary focus on building 3D digital twins. The Technician is responsible for coordination with team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of various deliverables for use with the ShotLink scoring systems.

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Geomatics or information systems/management or equivalent work experience
  • 3 years of related experience, with at least 1 year working experience with LiDAR capture planning and post processing
  • Understanding of GIS principals and fundamentals
  • Understanding of basic surveying and topographic mapping concepts
  • Experience with LiDAR collected via UAS preferred, any other LiDAR experience a plus
  • Understanding of remote sensing
  • Experience in TerraGO, Pix4D, Global Mapper, Cloud Compare or similar systems
  • Experience in AutoDesk toolsuite a plus
  • Experience performing point cloud registrations with survey grade accuracy
  • Experience with extracting mapping features from LiDAR and photogrammetry point clouds
  • Working knowledge of the game of golf and golf course design/features
  • A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar Windows based software
  • Excellent communications skills (written, verbal and presentation)
  • Excellent organizational skills and a high-level of attention to details

    • RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

  • Planning and coordinating UAS/aerial LiDAR/Photogrammetry data collection including but not limited to, review of existing documentation and development of 3D scanning plans
  • Processing, evaluating, and manipulating LiDAR and digital aerial photography to create a cohesive 3D point cloud
  • Ensure that models, maps and reports from cloud point and other related data required for the ShotLink scoring systems and other production systems are produced accurately and within time requirements
  • Define, document and refine processes used for the collection and processing of data collected in the field
  • Perform regular implementation, processing, and quality control checks of spatial golf data and deliverables
  • Extracting mapping features from LiDAR and photogrammetric data
  • Special projects or other duties as assigned
