We are seeking a professional Water Wastewater Engineering Specialist to join our Water/Wastewater division in Austin, TX.

STV specializes in the planning, organization, and development of engineering activities for the construction and maintenance of water and wastewater facilities.

Responsibilities include:

Production of contract documents including plans and specifications
Perform pipeline hydraulic flow and pressure calculations.
Perform pump calculations and develop system curves for sizing pumps.
Water and Wastewater treatment process engineering and design support.
Prepares construction and design cost estimates.
Develops project specific specifications.
Perform engineering duties in planning and designing electrical water and wastewater pipelines, pumping, storage, and treatment systems.
Responsible for or willingness to learn project management, client interface and business development of future projects.
Makes site visits during design and construction to inspect the electrical construction installation.
Review construction shop drawings and submittals for compliance with project design documents.

Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET accredited University or NCEES equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of experience in water and wastewater systems.
Texas EIT Certification, required.
Ability to work and communicate well will other design disciplines.
Possesses strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Experience with AutoCAD, ArcGIS is a plus.
Participation in professional organizations, as well as committee involvement would be a plus.

Compensation Range:
$67, $89,661.00
