- Develop and execute solar engineering strategy for the East Coast, based in Hartford, CT.
- Lead and manage the engineering team, ensuring goal achievement and talent development.
- Oversee design, development, and construction of solar projects to meet quality, budget, and timeline objectives.
- Manage team budget and resources.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to innovate new solar products.
- Stay updated on solar technologies and represent the company at industry events.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil preferred).
- 7+ years of solar engineering experience with project management focus.
- Proven success in delivering solar projects on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil preferred).
- Experience with solar engineering software (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope).
- Knowledge of solar project permitting, financing, and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with solar energy storage.
- PE License (a plus).
