    SALES ASSOCIATE

    McCalls Carpet One Floor & Home in Nashville & Franklin, TN is looking to hire a Sales Consultant to join their dynamic teams.

    McCalls Carpet One is the one-stop source for all designing needs, whether it's time for a simple update or an expansive building, renovation, restoration, or redesigning projects.

    90 day paid training
    Full Time: 5-day work week (Tuesday to Saturday: 9am-5pm)
    Monthly Medical Insurance Stipend
    Flexible Scheduling
    Travel Reimbursement when using own vehicle for company related tasks (milage)
    Periodical product, design, & customer service training
    Provide outstanding customer service and determine flooring needs
    Be point of contact for customer to provide following: flooring samples, complete & review space/area measurements, calculate number of materials needed for project, create estimate/proposals
    Communicate with vendors to determine product specifications, availability, and to order materials for active projects
    Manage time between the showroom and prospecting in the community
    Maintain showroom by keeping samples, displays and common areas neat, current, and clean
    Minimum of 2-4 years' proven work experience in Retail Sales, Customer Service, Interior Design, or similar role
    Associate or bachelor's degree in communications, business management, interior design, or a similar field a plus
    Basic computer/social media, iPad, and math skills a must
    Proper phone etiquette
    Ability to work independently under minimal supervision, yet within a team setting
    Ability to achieve sales goals effectively
    Ability to read floor plan drawings & create project estimates a plus (Willing to train)
    Knowledge of flooring & design industry a plus (Willing to train)
    No emails or phone calls to the showroom
    Do not personally deliver resumes to the showroom
