Description
The district committee of Hochtaunuskreis is currently seeking a medical assistant (m/f/d) for the Children and Youth Health Service and the Public Health Service in the Department 60.50 Health Services, Veterinary Medicine and Consumer Protection in Foresthill, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation and assistance in conducting medical examinations, mainly in the office
- Appointment scheduling, providing information, and general correspondence such as file maintenance
- Documentation of personal data and verification of completeness of examination documents for those being evaluated
- Participation in medical examinations and vaccinations (including blood draws, blood pressure measurements, vision and hearing tests) for children and adults
- Preparation and organization of examination materials for transport to the laboratory
- Maintenance and sterilization of medical instruments and equipment
- Maintenance of patient documentation and archiving of records in compliance with GDPR
- Assistance in the preparation of annual reports
- Verification of vaccination records and providing information and advice on ageappropriate vaccinations according to STIKO recommendations
Requirements:
- Completed training as a medical assistant (m/f/d), medical assistant (m/f/d), nurse (m/f/d)
- Enjoyment in working with children, adolescents, and adults
- Relevant professional experience
- Independent and flexible work style
- Coordination and cooperation skills
- Friendly demeanor and organizational talent
- High level of resilience and flexibility
- Experience with computer systems and willingness to learn new programs
- Class B driver's license and willingness to use personal vehicle for work
