    Job Description

    Candidate Profile:

    The Junior Product Owner is responsible for a specific product within the current portfolio of SOE SOFTWARE. This individual must have a deep understanding of the product's features, structure, and its relation to other components in the ecosystem. The Junior Product Owner is in charge of defining the basic architecture of the product, understanding its life cycle, creating backlogs for each component, and planning releases based on priorities.

    Responsibilities

    • Define the product vision, roadmap, and identify growth opportunities
    • Prioritize and plan the product backlog, managing multiple projects simultaneously
    • Prepare Scope of Work, including requirements, mockups, estimates, timelines, and costs for projects
    • Create user stories with steps, mockups, and test cases
    • Participate in standups to discuss priorities and scheduling
    • Provide support in Quality Assurance tasks
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive product documentation
    • Collaborate closely with team members including Product Managers, Designers, Developers, Client Services, or IT to achieve project and product objectives
    • Lead the planning of product release schedules and manage expectations for new feature deliveries
    • Offer support for product during critical moments

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role; Additional experience can substitute the educational requirement
    • Familiarity with Agile processes and principles
    • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
    • Strong analytical and problems-solving skills
    • Proficiency in formal testing methodologies

    The following would be advantageous:

    • Proficiency in both written and spoken Spanish
    • Background in collaborating with remote teams
    • Familiarity with user experience methodologies
    • Experience with tools such as WordPress, JIRA, and Microsoft Suite
