    Job DescriptionHVAC TechnicianPeoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in Romulus, MI within the Construction Industry. HVAC Technician Job Summary:The HVAC Technician will install and maintain the heating, cooling, and refrigerator systems throughout the facility and in the production of modular units. Works in conjunction with other skilled trades in manufacturing the modular units in a production facility. Essential Functions/Job Responsibilities:
    • Collaborates with employees concerning work orders, prints, and sketches to understand the structure that needs to be built or repaired.
    • Estimates equipment, tool, and material requirements for each job.
    • Installs and repairs heating and cooling systems within the modular units.
    • Ensures tools and equipment are properly cleaned, stored, and maintained for optimum performance and safety.
    • Ensures the accuracy of work by checking completed projects.
    • Measures, marks, and arranges materials to established layout based on blueprints or instructions from supervisors.
    • Regular and predictable attendance.
    • Other duties as assigned by Management.
    Pay: $20-28/hour, based on experience HVAC Technician Qualifications:
    • Education: High School Diploma or related field, completion of a formal apprenticeship program required, associate degree preferred.
    • Experience: Three years' experience as an HVAC technician, previous experience working with diverse populations preferred.
    • Other Requirements: Strong stakeholder service skills. Exceptional dedication to dependability and punctuality. Strong work ethic. Ability to engage a team toward a common mission. Additional abilities required:
      • Ability to understand directions and read blueprints.
      • Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment.
      • Ability to solve mathematical problems quickly and accurately.
