Join Our Team
As a detox substance use nurse, you play a crucial role in patient care. You connect patients with physicians and external resources, participate in team meetings, and handle emergency situations. You conduct medical screenings, provide nursing care, and oversee medical and psychiatric management in collaboration with physicians. Your dedication and compassion greatly contribute to the recovery journey of our patients.


Requirements:

Substance Use Disorder: 1 year (preferred)

  • Detox: 1 year (preferred)
  • Inpatient, partial hospitalization and/or outpatient setting experience (preferred)

License/Certification:


  • Valid Nursing License in FL

Responsibilities

  • Identify patients care requirements, focus on their needs and act on them
  • Nurture a compassionate environment by providing psychological support
  • Resolve or report on patients needs or problems
  • Prepare patients for examinations and perform routine diagnostic checks (monitor pulse, blood pressure and temperature, provide drugs and injections etc)
  • Monitor and record patients condition and document provided care services
  • Treat medical emergencies
  • Administer workloads
  • Follow care regulations and standards
  • Work within and cooperate with a multidisciplinary team
  • Performs other duties assigned.

Pay:
$33-36/hour


Schedule:
Full Time (Wed - Fri; 7am-7pm)
