    *Substance Abuse Counselor Requirements:
    • Masters degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
    • Valid state clinical licensure
    • Experience in substance abuse counseling
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
    • Commitment to promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion
    *Substance Abuse Counselor Responsibilities:
    • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the needs of individuals seeking substance abuse treatment.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
    • Provide counseling services to individuals and facilitate group therapy sessions.
    • Address the unique needs and challenges associated with substance abuse recovery.
    • Offer education and preventive services to individuals and groups to promote substance abuse awareness and prevention.
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and documentation standards.
    • Work collaboratively with other counselors, healthcare professionals, and support staff to deliver comprehensive care.
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to treatment planning.
    *Pay: $60,000- $85,000.00**Schedule: FT Evening IOP**Location: Saddlebrook, NJ**Apply today*Job Type: Full-time

    Schedule:

    • 8 hour shift

    • Master's (Preferred)

    Experience:

    • Substance abuse counseling: 1 year (Preferred)
    • IOP/OP level of care: 1 year (Preferred)

    License/Certification:

    • NJ Clinical License (Preferred)

    Shift availability:

    • Night Shift (Required)

    Ability to Relocate:

    • Saddle Brook, NJ: Relocate before starting work (Required)
