- Supports EDI Director as the skill team leader (including global strategy).
- Focuses on assessing current processes / tools within the Capability, in order to identify systemic gaps and develop solutions to bridge the gap across MS&B programs as it relates to Wire install, Wire design, Equipment Install etc.
- Builds relationship with the BDS Home Office, BCA, and Enterprise leaders to leverage opportunities to standardize process/tools where relevant.
- Works to develop & digitize standard processes and procedures for efficient business execution.
- Partners with executive leaders on long-range strategies, organizational goals, objectives, and initiatives.
- Partners with the division Business Operations leader to develop an operating rhythm that supports the MS&B EDI portfolio of projects / programs and internal business needs.
- Manage / oversee the KC-46 team directly.
- Leads the operation of the organization such as deliverables, execution, budget/cost and staffing needs.
- Partners with the Workforce & Capability leaders to develop and maintain staffing strategy, training plans, people development pipelines.
- Focuses on People Development such as defining and clarifying roles and responsibilities, identifying training for EDI people development to upskill our team into strong & technically proficient EDI stewards.
- Represents the EDI Director at Division level executive meetings.
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- 10 or more years of experience in an engineering related role.
- 5 or more years of experience leading or managing engineering teams.
- Experience in the defense or aerospace industry.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering.
- Experience performing Electrical Design Integration.
- Aerospace systems experience.
- Experience coaching, counseling, mentoring, and providing developmental opportunities and job assignments to enhance performance and expand employees within their organization.

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance and Bombers (MS&B) division is seeking a highly motivated Senior Electrical Engineering Manager to support the Director of Engineering - Electrical Design Integration (EDI) Capability based out of Tukwila, WA.
The Engineering Manager will work in a fast paced and dynamic environment to support long-range strategies, organizational goals, objectives, and initiatives including financial, staffing, and engineering deliverables analytics. In addition, the Senior manager may need to manage Program specific personnel and be responsible for Execution. The desired candidate must have strong Electrical Engineering experience, organizational, data management, and project management skills. Ultimately, the goal of this position is to streamline people, processes, and tools with the vision to improve first time quality, customer satisfaction and employee career development.
Position Responsibilities:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
