    Job Summary:

    Prepare and process a variety of accounting transactions to ensure financial subsidiary systems are balanced to the general ledger. Assists with preparation of accounting and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and adherence to corporate controls.

    • 50% Maintain accuracy of financial data through properly recording journal entries, preparing monthly reconciliations and other month end close activities. Perform internal controls to mitigate risks associated with accounting and business processes.
    • 30% Analyze and process accounting and financial transactions through a variety of systems and the general ledger. Maintain other financial reporting records as needed. Review and research out of balance conditions taking corrective action as needed. Maintain internal controls over processes, ensure compliance with internal controls over processes.
    • 20% Develop collaborative relationships across the Company's various divisions and departments to aid in efficient and proactive problem solving. Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve and/or automate processes and controls. Prepare ad hoc financial analysis demonstrating industry knowledge. Participate on project teams as required.
    Skills and Background You'll Need:

    Experience:
    • 1 - 2 years of related experience - REQUIRED
    • Understanding of accounting principles - REQUIRED
    • Understanding of debits and credits - REQUIRED
    • Ability to complete journal entries - REQUIRED
    • Understanding reconciliation - REQUIRED
    Education:
    • Associate's Degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent work experience.

    Please note - the salary range for this role is listed below. In addition to salary, our package includes incentive plan participation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits, as well as an initial PTO accrual of 164 hours per year. Employees also receive 11 paid holidays and 2 wellness days per year.
    • Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.
