    Description
    Undertheguidanceof theDirectorofEmploymentandEducation,theWJPEducation & Employment Program Coordinatorisresponsibleforadvancing education and employment opportunities for program clients. This includes collaborating with community partners, researching felony-friendly education pathways, applying for grant and scholarship opportunities, and data management. The Program Coordinator will meet one on one and in group settings with clients to providecareereducation,guidance, advocacy andcounseling.
    Additionally, this position willcoordinateanddeliver clienttrainingandsupportona broadrange of education,employmentandcareer-orientedservicesand becomepartofthetreatment team.
    Positionalsorequiresnetworkingandmarketingskillsaswellasabilitytobuild and maintain relationshipswithpotentialemployersandeducationpartners.

    Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college in Social Services, Human Relations or relevant field required, Masters preferred.

    Must have Oklahoma Case Management level II Certification or obtain by taking the first available Case Management Certification course provided by ODMHSAS after hire.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated customer service skills. Demonstrated computer skills, with experience using word processing and spreadsheet software programs. Familiarity with the communities being served, with knowledge and understanding of local needs and resources. Experience providing career guidance or counseling preferred.

    Must possess a valid Driver License and satisfactory driving record and use personal automobile to travel to locations other than primary office.

    Proof of automobile insurance required. May be required to work occasional evenings and weekends. Position requiresexpertise in data collection, research, education and employment best practices.

    This job is classified as a "safety-sensitive" position as defined by the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act.

    Due to the "safety-sensitive" classification, an employee in this position would be subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing.

    Marijuana is one of the substances included in the drug panel screening.
