    We're a seed-stage AI startup led by a founding team of AI startup veterans on a mission to revolutionize the accounting industry. We're seeking an exceptional AI Engineer to help turn our vision into reality. We are combining reasoning, machine learning, and generative AI to augment and democratize the expertise of accountants, empowering individuals and small businesses to make more informed financial decisions.

    What You'll Do:

    • Design, implement, and deploy machine and deep learning models and natural language processing models for applications across accounting, including forecasting, estimation, and classification; and document understanding.
    • Design and implement core deep learning/machine learning components of the Cynch AI platform.

    Requirements

    What We're Looking For:

    • Significant experience developing and applying machine learning and deep learning models to forecasting, estimation, or classification both in problems that involve natural language and those that don't.
    • 2+ years' experience delivering machine learning based products.
    • Ph.D. in machine learning.
    • Expertise with machine learning techniques: Gradient Boosting, Decision Trees, Graphical Models, Bandit algorithms.
    • Extensive experience programming in Python, Julia or equivalent.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with knowledge graphs or other reasoning technologies.
    • Experience with online learning algorithms.
