A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright

Analyze information stemming from multiple sources including environmental internal controls, previously conducted compliance assessments, environmental events, and risk assessment evaluations.
Work collaboratively with environmental professionals implementing the EMS to understand interdependencies that will alter the environmental assurance scope decisions.
Lead assurance engagements independently to review documentation and data, and conduct inspections and in person interviews.
Communicate assurance results with partners.
Collaborate with EMS personnel to identify improvements in processes related to Environmental Assurance Activities.

The essentials:

Minimum of seven (7) years of experience involving conducting environmental or other compliancefocused assurance activities including auditing, controls performance, or environmental compliance assessment
Possess a valid Drivers' License

The preferred:

Bachelor's Degree in applicable profession, environmental, or technical discipline.
Master's Degree in environmental, engineering, or related technical discipline.
Experience in conducting auditing activities including collecting data through observation, interviews, and testing of compliance controls in the field.
Ability to assess compliance and operational data, understand environmental compliance, and use data to prioritize assurance engagements.
Experience working with multiple environmental compliance disciplines.
Ability to interface effectively and in collaboration with field personnel, stakeholders, peers, and management.
Experience working well under time constraints with ability to selfmanage priorities and multiple demands.

You should know:

This position's work mode is
hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
Position will require up to 50% traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory.
