Become an Accountant at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you will be responsible for providing related support in executing Generations Capital project plan. This person will be responsible for supporting processes related project costs such as Procure to Pay.
In addition, this person will be responsible for working with multiple groups with cost accounting related data collection, answering and investigating cost related errors.
The role will also provide Generation support with establishing Labor and Expense default accounting (working alongside with payroll). As an Accountant, your work will help power our planet, reduce carbon emissions and create cleaner air for everyone. Responsible for handling Generations monthly accruals program
Assembling weekly dashboard's supporting Generations Procure to Pay process
Support & submittal of all Data Integrity requests, Annual DBE Goals, and Authority Approval Levels.
Support Generation with Office safety supplies
Performing other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
The Essentials
Three or more years of experience working with systems of record (SAP & Ariba preferred).
Experience with procure to pay processes.
The Preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Word, and Excel performing functions such as VLOOKUP's, pivot tables, filtering/sorting, charts and graphing.
Experience exporting data from systems of record.
Experience presenting technical information to Leadership.
Experience in reporting status to internal and external stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience with SAP & Ariba related functions.
You should know
This position's work mode is hybrid.
The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.
Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. This position has been identified as a NERC/CIP impacted position - Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation.
Once hired, the candidate must complete specified training prior to gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performing necessary job duties.
