- Maintain a full understanding of licensure and regulatory requirements
- Implement control systems to ensure accountability of all departments
- Ensure that census expectations are met and that the resident admission process documentation is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with established policy and procedure
- Oversee the recruitment and retention of qualified staff throughout the community, making sure onboarding requirements are met before the employee is released to work on the floor
- Maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, professional referral sources, community partners.
- Oversee the community budget, revenue and financial decisions, providing guidance and training to department heads on the maintenance of the overall community budget
- Actively participate in in-house sales activities including prospective resident tours and special events.
- Ensure compliance of documentation and reporting requirements per state and federal regulations.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a leadership role, managing 3 or more subordinate department managers and/or 30 or more employees.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience of developing strategies and implementing plans.
- Ability to manage customer and community relationships.
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities, manage time effectively and meet deadlines accordingly.
- Ability to proficiently used Microsoft products such as, Outlook and Word.
- Experience with an electronic management systems preferred.
- Full Time, Salary – Flexible hours and scheduling
- Weekend availability for inquiring phone calls and emergencies.
- Most work must be done on site; however flexibility is available to accommodate remote work as needed.
