- Repair various equipment sold and serviced by Raymond West.
- Maintain profitability in billing.
- Coordinate with assigned Field Supervisor.
- Handle all paperwork promptly and accurately.
- Discuss all work options with customers before proceeding.
- Ensure you have the necessary tools for repairs and scheduled service.
- Complete jobs within specified time frames and keep your vehicle clean and organized.
- Manage an accurate parts inventory if required.
- Develop good knowledge of customers and equipment in your assigned areas.
- Maintain a safe driving record as per the company's insurance standards.
- Utilize 100% of your available work time efficiently.
- Follow safety procedures diligently and use sound judgment.
- Be open to traveling out of town when needed.
- Establish positive relationships with customers.
- Carry out other duties as assigned by Service Supervisors or Managers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in English - reading, writing, and speaking.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and similar software.
- Able to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
- Effective in communicating with groups of customers or employees.
- Be flexible with off-hour work and taking on additional responsibilities.
- Skilled in customer interaction.
- Understanding of basic D.C. electricity, A.C. electricity, and internal combustion engines.
- Capable of writing reports and correspondence.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Apply practical understanding to follow written, oral, and diagram instructions.
- Hold a valid driver's license with a clean record.
- Maintain personal tools as per the approved list.
- Possess necessary tools based on duties and certification level.
- Familiarity with hydraulic systems and mechanical work.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of breakdown or similar service experience.
- Position involves daily travel in assigned territories.
- Company vehicle and Fuel Card provided for technicians.
- Must meet insurance requirements by Raymond West.
- Active work environment.

- Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts.
- Tasks may include going to construction sites.
- Regular lifting up to 50 pounds.
