Description
Job Title: Senior Product Owner- Healthcare
The Product Owner in this position will operate within an Agile environment, responsible for defining and prioritizing requirements in the development team's backlog. This role plays a crucial part in maximizing the value generated by the team, ensuring that stories align with user needs and meet the definition of completion. Collaboration with Product Management is key to delivering features that align with AM&D Heart's strategic goals.
Your Responsibilities:
- Engage with stakeholders to comprehend product/business requirements.
- Define user stories and prioritize the product backlog based on business value.
- Participate in daily standup meetings and retrospectives with the development team.
- Validate story acceptance criteria.
- Lead sprint reviews and refinement sessions.
- Assist Product Management in defining the product vision and roadmap.
- Identify opportunities for continuous team and process enhancement.
- Advocate product benefits to senior management and stakeholders.
- Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment driven by evolving needs and requests from senior leadership.
Experience:
- 8+ years of professional experience (with a bachelor's degree), 10+ years (without a bachelor's degree).
- 5+ years as a Product Owner, Technical Business Analyst, Business or Systems Analyst, Product Manager.
- Exposure across hardware, SaaS, and PaaS platforms is advantageous.
- 4+ years in a healthcare or medical device/software role within a regulated setting.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, RCM software, EHR integrations, and SAP is beneficial.
- Understanding of Cardiology, Electro-physiology, or Interventional Cardiovascular products is a plus.
- Knowledge of international healthcare systems, standards, and regulations is favorable.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally to customer and company sites (up to 10-20%).
