Position Summary
At NAVEX, we are offering a 9-week Software Engineer Internship Program in Summer 2024.
You will have the opportunity to work with subject matter experts and thought leaders who will provide industry insights and hands-on learning experiences.
This is not your typical internship program of doing menial, tedious tasks. You'll gain firsthand experiences in a rapidly growing, innovative SaaS (software as a service) company unlike any other.Receive a robust on-boarding and training experience as well as on-going feedback throughout the program
Virtual social events to network with fellow interns and NAVEX leaders

What You Will Do
Work alongside senior engineers to deploy cool new features and enhancements that will delight our customers
Participate in elaboration and design sessions to understand and refine requirements to be implemented
Build tooling and automation to ensure our products deliver the highest quality
Collaborate with scrum team members during sprint planning and daily standups and share your accomplishments during sprint reviews
Provide constructive and honest feedback during code reviews and sprint retrospectives
Empower the entire development team by helping create solutions, automations and other tools
Receive career development training through our HR department and other representatives of the business
What You Will Need
Desire to improve understanding of design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and improvement of software
Experience in at least one programming language (C#, .NET, Python preferred)
Self-motivation with the ability to learn and come up to speed quickly on new technologies
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and influence others on the best solution, holding yourself and others accountable
Interest in accessibility, security and user experience
Ability to think about the business impact of your work
Ability to work well in a team environment and attitude to focus on team specific goals and objectives
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a commitment to engage with people across a variety of levels with diverse backgrounds
