- Designing structural components and Performing advanced structural analysis and simulations prepare reports, designs, and drawings.
- Leading discussions with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders. Reviewing and approving project drawings and specifications. Overseeing the structural design process for complex engineering projects. Consulting on high-level engineering challenges and providing expert advice.
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
- Contributing to the development of company standards and practices. Leading risk assessments and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Consider the strength of construction materials and select appropriately and provide technical advice on safe designs and construction.
- Obtain planning and/or building regulations approval and analyze configurations of the basic components of a structure.
- Liaise with professional staff such as architects and engineers. Monitor and inspect all work undertaken by contractors to ensure structural soundness.
- Administer contracts, manage projects, inspect properties, evaluate conditions and foundations.
- Use computer-aided design technology for simulation purposes. Expertise in project management.
- Advanced knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Sound understanding of physics and mathematics. Ability to liaise with professionals from other disciplines.
- Three-dimensional conceptual skills, analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- As site SPOC schedule project calls with the client.
- Co-ordinate with offshore on design deliverables.
- Co-ordinate with Client, Vendor, and construction for inputs to be shared offshore.
- Prepare markups.
- Review design documents received from offshore.
- Deliver design packages to customers.
- Support the construction team in technical queries and clarification.
- Required previous experience as a Structural Engineer or in a similar field.
- Excellent knowledge of construction methods and regulations.
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD.
- Data-driven mindset with excellent mathematical skills.
- Good communication abilities (both written and verbal).
- Domain: Civil/Structural Engineer FMCG.
- Educational Qualification: BE / B Tech - Civil/Structural Engineer.
