- Oversees, guides, and instructs subordinate staff on work assignments
- Coordinates engineering, maintenance, renovation, and construction of facilities
- Reviews plans and conducts on-site inspections to ensure compliance with guidelines
- Compiles and maintains cost estimates and bid tabulation files
- Conducts field reviews to ensure compliance with maintenance and construction policies
- Performs technical analyses to determine infrastructure and facility needs
- Confirms work is done according to guidelines
- Coordinates maintenance and construction projects
- Monitors vendors/contractors' work to ensure project completion within guidelines
- Interprets blueprints and drawings
- Manages maintenance, construction, renovation, and repair activities
- Prepares specifications for new or renovated structures and resolves issues
- Reviews plans, specifications, and conducts on-site inspections
- Supervises and plans work of assigned staff
- Conducts routine inspections for compliance with regulations
- Requires an associate degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum five years of experience in engineering, maintenance, renovation, and construction, including supervisory roles
- Experience as a lead worker or team leader preferred
- Qualified employer for the Federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program
